When I bought mine today all they had was a 1-DVD version.

i bought it the day it came out and it's one dvd. i believe the only format offered is dvd format.

yeh danke sirs, i noticed on a website there was a regular oblivion that is out now and a collectors edition, i was just wonderin if it was set like CoD2 and the $10 less gets u a bundle of cds...so yeh...

Finally got some good looking pictures. These are cooking on my 7600GT at 1280x760 and even this size it looks good. 4xAA and Bloom on as well. There was a period when I was fighting this guard and taking pictures at night, and all of a sudden the frames dropped into the RED and I got scared as hell. This morning though I look in my FRAPS folder and theres a 130meg video, of the fight between me and the guard. beer:

God damn the game looks so much - cleaner, and fuller. Running through the forests and not seeing grass pop up every step really does a LOT to add to the immersiveness. I cant wait to get some time tonight to really run it through the paces (I spent 3 hours putting my damn system together. . . stupid: )

Everytime I go to play the game it resets my settings.

Are the settings being set in your My Documents/My Games/Oblivion folder?

Thats where YOUR settings are. Check that and see if its what you have.

Man, I should do that screenshot shit to show you the dragon armor... fuckin' wicked stats and enchantments on it. ALL OF IT. lol...

wow i still cant close the damned first gate..the compass says to talk to the captain but I do and he keeps telling me the same thing: He cant attack until the gate is closed...

Yes, I posted about that already. Items are regenerated every once in a while and your stuff is gone forever. The only real safe place to put something is in your own house which you can purchase in any of the 9 major cities.

im stuck at the part where acideyez is, the first oblivion gate. i think i have to close it before the emperors son leaves but how do i close it?

just walk up to it and hit spacebar to get inside. am i missing something?
