Imo forcing models works as a kind of aid to a player. If you have models forced then you're only looking for a specific uniform to shoot at. Say someones camped in the bush wearing the waffen ss camo, theyre gonna be harder to spot but if u have models forced and set it to that german winter uniform for example u can spot them far easier.

Imo its better to have to be aware of your surroundings and whos around you rather than rely on seeing a specific uniform. Some people refer to forcing skins as a kind of cheat too, if it makes u more visible then i would agree.

I always force models but give my opponents related colors. M16:

heh the part where he threw in those nades and bounced them off the wall getting some kills was pretty cool

redhawk_six 01-07-2003 11:34 PM

I do that all the time in single player.

The thing that sucks it as easy as FRAPS is, it won't work on my machine.

Bleuachdu 01-08-2003 02:10 AM

I downloaded FRAPS and tried it about an hour ago. Man it rapes my machine. Completely unplayable. I recorded 22secs which turned out to be 100Mb. Ridiculous. I do have max detail settings at 1024X768. If I lower the resolution and details, will I be able to record?

Cool Fool 01-08-2003 02:36 AM

no. i just use to get jpeg screens.
