Ok, I think I get it. I'll post an example and tell me if this is right:
the mp3 is song.mp3:

Example :
I hit the "~" key to bring down the console.
I type tmstop
then:
tmstart <song>.mp3

The song will start.

Is that right?
And say if I'm on someone elses server and I do the music thing, I'll just here the music right?

Thats almost right....first you must put the song you want into your MOH main folder. Then name it just song...don't put the .mp3 after it, your computer should do that by itself. Then load MOH...press ~ to open console type tmstop then hit enter....then type tmstart song.mp3 without the < > that you had. That should work if not post again and I'll help you mess with things til you get it. cool:

ruffryder9009 03-10-2003 12:40 PM

Not a problem! biggrin:

BlazinMohaa 03-10-2003 01:06 PM

it didn't work for me.... i tested it on my home network.... think if someone has a firewall that might be the reason they can't hear it?

ruffryder9009 03-10-2003 02:05 PM

If what you mean by home network is that your trying to have other people here it from other computers in your house...that won't work...when you do all this your the only one who can hear it...and it must be in your Main folder.

BlazinMohaa 03-10-2003 03:06 PM

i mean i host games a lot and my other computer here also plays MOH:AA and i had it join my server and listen but couldn't hear the music that was supposed to be playing

ruffryder9009 03-10-2003 06:40 PM

Yea thats what IM saying...you can only listen to the music from the computer that you put it on its a client thing...has nothing to do with the server.

It causes no lag either...I use it often whiling owning on my clan's server. mwah: Right...Anyother questions just make a post c you guys later!

BlazinMohaa 03-10-2003 09:05 PM

you can also type "playmp3 <file name here>.mp3, i type "playmp3 life.mp3 and it plays for me also, but again it has to be in the main folder
