Spybot owns, and adaware is good, both should clean everything the other misses.

What i'd like to know is: "Who's the moron"? Is it the mysterious person who sabotaged your computer, or is it you for not knowing who it was? How could "someone" use your personal computer without your knowledge?

What you need to do is lock others out of your computer.

I use both and have found that they will each catch something that the other didn't.

Download spybot search and destroy to find the spyware. Then do a full system scan with norton and quarantine the viruses, that way you can delete them. After that, dont let anyone on your computer.

lavasoft screwed up kazaa... not that i use it....

not to good if you dont have the pro version. It leaves certain files.

Your better off with using Ad aware + Spybot. Update them both. If the file cannot be deleted find its source track it down them delete it manually. (if the santi spyware progrmaa only kills the registry marks not the actual file itself}.
