I was thinking precisely the same thing. What...the...fuck...? eek: |
My dad used to crack my ass with the belt and coat hanger if I got out of line. My mom would grab my sideburns and walk me around that way if i pissed her off in public. Too much Oprah and Dr. Phil = excuses for not disciplining your kids. I went to Subway for lunch today and saw this 4 or 5 year old kid screaming and wailing like a llittle pig. He was swinging and hitting his mom on her butt, back, leg, everywhere while she was trying to buy him some lunch. Thats the reason why I dont want to ever have kids. That, and because I dont want some fat human baby falling out of my wifes body.

I think the thing you saw in the Subway was more caused by braindead parents not letting their kids have sugar-containing things (ie candy) because they believe in the fallacy that is sugar-induced hyperactivity. Just about every time I see a kid trow a fit in a store or fast-food place it's because their parents deny them candy. While the child is also poorly-disciplined, a child should not have to throw a fit because their parents are too fucking stupid to realize that sugar is a normal part of human diets, especially for kids. I was never limited in how much sugar-containing food I could have, and I was never "hyper". The only major side effect was that I thought trick-or-treating was dumb, while for many kids it is one of the few times that can get all the candy they want, no wonder they get "hyper" from it if they eat it on Haloween and Easter. |
