Not too many movies, its just that this is such a high profile case and the history channel did a good job on 'the men who killed kennedy' and various programs.

Maybe the government did know about oswald but did nothing........and they sent an agent to make sure oswald would succed ed:

Madmartagen 05-11-2004 12:32 PM

I think the govt did know about Oswald, they used him as a patsy. When the media and everyone basicallay convicted him on tv, they made sure he was killed so he wouldnt talk. I dont know how biased the History channel is, if they are at all, they seem to show just about everything.

TGB! 05-11-2004 12:33 PM

Oswald probably didnt fire the fatal shot, but he was involved in the conspiracy. He didnt know his true purpose was a patsy but his ass was involved. Bay Of Pigs pissed off ALOT of people, including Socialists/Communists like Oswald.

that teaches people to set their watches to the proper time zone accordingly.

[quote:794b1]Oswald was a top shot in the army or where ever he was. Stone said he wasn’t. [/quote:794b1]

My bad it should have said whatever he was not where. I knew he was in the CIA supposedly but couldn’t remember which armed serves because that’s kind of irrelative to the topic. Marines army what ever who cares.

I would think the failure of the President to provide support that the rebels THOUGHT they had was the primary reason for BOP's failure.

Short Hand 05-11-2004 12:51 PM

^ didnt the bomber pilots , or support come an hour late because their watches were set wrong ?

Yes it was the main reason as to why the mission failed. He pissed alot of people in the CIA, DoD and the cuban refugees off by holding back the air force. I think the missle crisis and bay of pigs showed (in the militarys mind) that Kennedy was going to lead the US and USSR into a global nuclear war. This was the reason for assassination.

No, Kennedy called off the air force.

I didn’t say it was all crap but allot of it was. I am sure there were 3 shooters and shit. I am just saying stone exaggerated the facts.

But about the magic bullet they did prove it. Something about the front seat was higher than they thought and the angles they sat at made it all line up. I don’t buy it but they said it.[/quote:b44ec]

They also once said that D-Day for Normandy invasion was Jun 6 1945;
also that Bismark was the most heavily armed warship of her day, when anyone remotely familiar with navies knows that the Nelson and Rodney were, until the US fast BBs and Yamato and Musashi were built.

while they are the most historically accurate TV channel; they still get shit wrong, its just that all the other channels show utter BS.

intrestedviewer 05-11-2004 01:04 PM

The generals were going to lead us to WW3 not Kennedy. Kennedy was smart not to trust em.
