So, to assume that the digital arts is in ANY WAY comparable, or even more profitable, is incorrect. How many digital artists can you mention by name right now? Id say less than a handful, if any at all.

Being good at something and having confidence in what you do go hand it hand, whether you suck , or you are as good as you think. Either way, ill continue to ego trip, because it will help me become better at what i do. now go to these digital artist pages. MOst of them are professionals and do make money. Now look at "their links" this litteraly goes on and on and on, never ending. Its a huge pit of moeny. More then the average contemporary artist has. (Last paragraph will relate back to this more).

3. Ive taken"quote just as many courses as you have threw out highschool (night school "waste of time as well")in art, media arts, communication Tech, All of those. So don't pull this I took a course so my penis is bigger shit. I've done this "shit" as well and it makes a person no better or worse. You develope your own thing and practice to express or create what you see fit. Whether its a small sig or web template im doing It all comes from the instant. WHat I think see feel etc. At first I took the course to only breeze threw for a credit. All it did was get me into it. I worked out the rest.

4. Im not turning this guy down for help but im not going to help. I would hate to end up seeing him rip something else and know I was partially responsible for it. Just for a guest to browse threw this forum and see his name under the post and give him credit for it. I just don't trust him. My solution to him is just not to comment at all in silence.

5. Don't we have a digi artist right here ? Magnum ? I don't need to name any of the tons , their are thousands. ^ the links above i gave lliterally sprout out into thousands of other sites it a huge network of artist all making money at this game. Digital art. Which brings me to another point. See every magazine ? Most book covers movie posters soup labels everything* are now being done "many of them" by digital media". Desktop Publishing for example which is what I want to do probably is responsible for every magazine in your house right now. All done digitally and expressed up front.

6. Like it or not what i;ve seen from you lately has all been stuff like this. Ill call it a ego trip because thats what it is. I guarentee you if zoner was still the best photochopper here he would not be in this thread at all, even if he was it wouldn't be in the stance he is right now.

If you think your drawings are going up for auction get inline with all the other amatuer artists who want that glory. It comes to the few. I didn't claim to be enlightned in the subject only educated. Your picking out a few great persona's and saying every artist is going to bust out big like these guyz. Well hell that ain't happening by a long shot.

While websites are done every, Magazines, labels covers. These all got out to digital aritsts. Its a huge indfustry employing lots. Hell even Artists use photoshop ot further themselves. The industry for "us" is a lot larger then the industry once was for you" accept something new. Its a trend thats gonna stick. lol cnn.com.

i would look into who is involved in mag , cd, covers etc. If i had to guess i would say it isnt a group of fagos making sig on some half whitted interweb page. Id say many of them are educated in one of the visual arts Fields.

Indeed, fame and fortune only come to some artists, but being noticed as an artist comes from originality and vision, neither of which ive seen from too many of you (especially in the originality department).
