I was up at 6am this morning watching "The Chris Matthews Show" since i'm now an insomniac. A poll showed the Americans view on the ban on homesexuality via political affiliation:

For Banning - Against Banning
Republican: 72% - 18%
Democrat: 60% - 40%
Independent 48 - 51%

I found this quite shocking that people still suffer from homophobia. All i can say is become friends with one homosexual and your views will change 100%. The biggest problem is that most homosexuals don't live in conservative communities because their kind is not accepted. If homosexuality was more prominant in these bible belt areas, then it would not be a problem.

I could care less if someone is gay or not.

I pity the people who can't comprehand gay relationships. It's their choice.

Im all for the whole gay thing, just dont try getting me to march in any parades for it.

I fully accept gays in the world - I don't have a problem with it.....So long as I don't have to see it.

Change the name of this thread to something less vague. Call it "Homo Poll", or something along those lines.

I really don't care as long as it doesnt affect me.

I can't wait for the day 40 years from now and we'll be saying

"Remember the time when gays couldn't get married. Damn people were ignorant back then."

Just like how most of us believe when blacks couldn't vote was wrong, however if you lived 60 years ago it seemed normal.
