Most people who have owned high end video cards and played at 1240x1024 or 1600x1200 could never go back to playing at 1024x768 or lower. It just looks like crap. I would rather play at 1600x1200 with everything on med then 1024x768 with everything maxed.

1024.768 @ High for me.

1600x1200, high or ultra for me, ultra being a bit choppy obviously.

It's a lot more crisp. High resolution graphics and renders look much better than low resolution.

You need a 512mb video card for ultra quality...is there even a card that exist that has that?

No cards as yet have 512mb of ram, nvidia are releasing a 512mb varient of the 6800 ultra later this year.
