btw nope it is a double e. If you feel my lips they are rock solid from playing so loud and long. probably not good but i have too cause every other trumpet player in MB sucks except my backup. He cant go above a high F stupid:.

Thanks. rock:[/quote:a5b83] calmdown: Ok, let's get this straight. The lowest fingured note is the f#..then an octave above that which is the first space F#. Then the octave above that which is the last line F#. Then if you go an octave above that (3.5 leger lines) there is an F#. Then you're trying to tell me that you play the E that has 6.5 leger lines!! That's almost out of a piccalo's range.... stupid: . I bet Arturo Sandoval or Maynard Ferguson would have an uneasy time hitting those notes.

Plus, you say that you're in all these bands and stuff...but wtf. There are only what 5 trumpet players in your band (From that picture that you posted). Do you make district band or all-state jazz? hake:

ahh kk i vaguely remembered that convo happy:

I like having the triggered valves. espically on first valve. My directors has one and it is sweet. It feels more natural to pull the valve than to push it. Dang how many horns do you have. If i could afford it i would get a Schilke. oh yes my friend may sell his. I know someone who worked on the valves for The Schilke Trumpets then was hired by the people who made the uzi to do tha valves on the gun. hhe got a free trumpet and gun. no complaints here.

I have 1 beginner King model.
1 Stomvi Forte (intermediate)
1 Stomvi Elite (pro)
1 pocket trumpet

I do alot of fund raising in my band and we get our own little accounts. I was going to buy a new pro model for college and after, but our jazz band is going to Denmark to play in May which will take a HUGE $$$$$ out of my account. mad:

@/\/G3L 09-09-2004 10:37 PM

ouch that sucks. Our band charges like $130 to be in it per year. lowest in the state. We are so under funded we have to put white duct tape on our shoes, tape broken drum heads, "borror" stuff from other bands, and other stuff like that. kinda sad. but hey we are the smallest band but are known for our large sound.MY drum Major got pissed cause she could only hear me because noone else was playing loud enough. or me to loud. oOo:
