And as far as the Prequels being before the originals but having better technology......I don't know. Mabey it's like the USSR. A reppressive empire stunded the growth of technology. I dunno..... But, Return of the Jedi does have better tech in some areas, Like the advandced death star.

I dunno. Most of their technology seems superior to me. I mean x-wing>watever the republic had, y wing>republic gunship, tie fighter> droid fighter... About the part about not having really advanced droids... I guess droids prove that they are no match for clones/real humans so they werent used in the millitary anymore. Plus they also had imperial star destroyers, at-at, at-st. How can u say that those arent advanced?

Yep... And also look at the weapons. The clone troopers have these HUGE rifles, whereas the troopers in the latter empire have smaller, more condensed versions (carbines, if you will) Also, the dropships in the Clone Wars have normal missles, not proton torpedos.
