Maybe. I just think WW2 was alot more important to the sake of the world than a tiny country who couldn't destroy a country beside them yet alone the world.

It was absolutely, but comparing events over 60 years apart, during the most hectic century in the history of the world is just stupid. The world was an entirely different place back then.

You're just using any excuse to stir shit up.

Today is not only the rememberance of Pearl Harbour but the turning point in the war on the Easter Front by the Soviet Union.

Spotted this on CNN, a reenactment of the battle for anyone interested.

I don't see how last century was all that hectic compared to like the 15th and 16th centuries. Most people couldn't afford to live, the black plague stuff, constant religious wars, huge empires that own way more of the world than america thinks they own now.

I love how the death of americans is tragics, but the innocent deaths of the japaneese during the uneeded atomic bombings of them getting what they deserved.

There weren't as many people, more people were killed in the 20thC than any other but I think this is mostly due to population expansion. Human nature sure hasn't changed.

You're nit-picking and taking the argument off in a tangent, that has nothing to do with what we're talking about and you know it.

But all address it regardless......Think about how many people there are in the planet 1900 - 2000 as opposed to the 15th or 16th centuries.....Think about the industrial revolution. Think about the first two WORLD wars. Think about the technoogical advancements we've made. It was a hugely busy, hectic century is what I'm saying.
