rofl, I HAD a 9600xt, until that fucker burnt out, and I had to go down to an FX5200, which I still am forced to use. Not as bad as I'd have thought for $100 or so NZD....It runs all the games, just looks kinda shit....

CAN YOU PLAY BF2 WITH THE 5200???[/quote:a03bc]
you probably could, at the very lowest settings, but the fps would probably be unbearable.

yeah...i got a 5200 and 5600 in closet...then i get bf2 and sadly my leet ti4600 only has 1.3 shaders which is not compatible with the game...but i get better fps with games in it and such...now im gonna put in 5600

Nice, I got my 5700LE to work pretty good. I thought it was going to cough at BF2....but, in all actuality, the card is NOT that bad as everyone makes it out to be...for 120, its a damn good card. 256 MB memory too. I dunno, I am satisfied with it.

Cool Fool 06-13-2005 02:45 AM

well the problem is, that the ti4600, noticably runs better performance wise and i love it with my other games than the 5600 ultra...but it isnt compatible with bf2...anways...LE=limited edition? right? whats the difference between a non limited edition 5700?

I've been using it since sometime last year, and it's played every game I've tried, relatively well....CSS, GTASA, CODUO, BIA.....The only game it's had a slight problem with so far has been MOHPA, and I still finished the game....GTASA every now and then stutters, but overall it's playable and still fun.

BF2 runs very well considering the above. I haven't had any trouble at all so far, it runs fine. Needless to say I was suprised. Obviously the graphics aren't as good as a higher end card, but I don't really notice seeing as I've been using the current since a bit after DOOM 3 came out.

I got my 5200 for about $50 USD....and there are probably worse cards that could run it....

Get $250 and buy a X800XL or 6800GT.

Short Hand 06-14-2005 05:21 AM

spend 134 $ on a 9800 lol.

Akuma 06-14-2005 09:01 AM

Or spend $150 on a 6600GT that blows a 9800 away.
