No, a speaking enhanced course is. Depending on the professor you might have to give a presentation or participate. A public speaking course is solely learning techniques when speaking in front of others and using them. (if anyone needs any leet speaches i have a few you can borrow)

Philosophy - 1E03

Only if you wish to learn logic and make sense of the world you live in through proper reasoning. If it's introductory, you'll find it a lot more enjoyable since you will touch on all the basic philosophical problems without completely destroying your brain. ;-)

Psychology - 1A06

Only if you wish to learn of the underlying mental processes governing your life and the associated problems, abilities and general cognitive theories currently accepted today. If it's an introductory course, you won't work too hard and still learn quite a bit of useful stuff...
