3700+ is $260ish while the 4400+ X2 is over $500. Those are the best options. Get the 3700+ if you don't do much multimedia work. No matter what gerv says, DON'T GO INTEL. biggrin:
You can look around more but I doubt you'll find a better deal than that. |
lol ok. no intel. i don't do heavy multimedia work, just graphic and web designing. its mostly for gaming. but the comp i use now is good, but not great. it runs games like doom 3, half life 2 and cod 2 at mid level graphic settings with no slow down, while games like BF2 and fear won't even begin. and i want it to be a long lasting pc cuz i don't plan on upgrading anything after this purchase for quite some time.

You can't get much faster than SLI 7800s...
|
alright. thanks for your help akuma and gerv. though it looks like odds are i may have to buy the FX-57 seperately.
|
FX-57 is a little over kill...
Not to mention an incredible waste of money. |
Id love an fx57 system, for sli though even that cpu is underpowered for maxing sli performance. Can remembe a hexus article showing even the 6800 ultra in sli an fx57 wasn't enough to max them out. No suprise though.
