I was hit a tiny bit...not that much.

Though I consider violence the stupid way out...parents should know how to out smart their kids...put fear into them with words...not with fists. All fists do is teach a kid how to be violent...which is why hitting usually leads to the kid ending up being somesort of bully figure at school.

where do you get this crap? When I was young (I know ) every kid got a spanking if they did something stupid (lieing and stealing were the two biggies). There were bullies then but Id have to say there are more bullies now. These kids get away with everything and someone needs to put them in thier place. It has to start at home, if they dont get taught right at home then you have a world full of asshats running around

Well...there always needs to be disapline...but pain goes away..sometimes kids can even get immune to the pain...used to it...and don't even mind getting caught anymore. Find out what they love...what makes their life good...and figure out a way to eliminate it.

Pyro, you really can't comment for you have no kids. My kids are fine but sometimes they need to be "realigned" back into place. A good smack on the ass takes care of that.
