The old man HAD to use self defense in this senario even though he was 60 and the kid was a teen..the justification for the killing was obviously rational because really when you get called names and someone steps on the corner of your lawn a few times the only real solution to the problem is to kill the fucking bastard..don't talk to the parents or anything just kill him..he deserved to die..what a dumb fucking kid, shame on him for being a reckless teen like we all once used to be and now he is dead..serves the dumb bastard him right.
