I like the book. A true coming of age story, although the main character was a little to whiny for my taste. All in all a good book, one of the best I read in high school.

Hell where did Huck Finn go? Fuck this book and its "deep meaning". Next thing you'll read is Farenheit 451. I suggest taking a cue from that book a set fire to the damn thing the second its handed to you.

Also i did that exact project and just used a song that said fuck alot.

thats a completely ignorant thing to say.

i had to read a lot of great books that were "forced upon me"

Such as: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Catch-22, The Stranger, and Invisible Man

wait, how is it ignorant for forcing kids to read good examples of literature (which happens to be the classics)?

i said it was ignorant to say that all books required from school are bad.

can you highlight where he said this, because i dont see it. I just see the notion that catcher in the rye specifically should not be forced upon anyone.

Worst book I really ever did read. In fact, I never finished it. I read Notes from the Underground instead.

Im suprised you weren't taken aback at the fact that
1. I had a similar opinion as yours
2. I can actually read.
3. That I do read good books.
