[quote="Sgt. Paine":be555]I would get in a chase with that thing just to get owned by it[/quote:be555]unless they're modified for cops, chargers are not that fast stock. they are heavy as fuck. one of the models of it weight over 4000lbs.

ok dude 0-60 in 5 seconds is slow.
I'm sure they are running the SRT8 version that does indeed do 0-60 in 5 flat. Plus im sure they will be modified, the Crown Vics are. |
but they look beastly, more beastly than vic's imo.

it looks alright

The Chargers come with two engine options for the police, the 5.7 V8 Hemi which i think is pushing 350+ HP, and the stock V6 which makes 260HP. |
Are you a cop?

No, but i do drive an old cop car biggrin:
http://www.mazik.net/uploads/Photos052.jpg http://www.mazik.net/uploads/Photos053.jpg http://www.mazik.net/uploads/Photos046.jpg Its not a Crown Vic, but a Chevy Caprice. Came stock with a 5.7 350 LT1 V8,pushing 260Hp, which was incredible back in 1994, and i get asked all the time whether it has the 'cop motor', or the 'police chip' wallbash: Its the same motor that was available in the Civilan version. Same goes for the Fords. I know that Chevy just put the reinforced frame, external coolers, bigger brakes, and the like. But nothing to increase the power to huge amounts. They also do stuff to help the handling |

Its a nice cop car, beacuse most are shitty chevys from 1995.
