They pushed him to the limit. He was absolutely right in his decisions, without question. He initially chose to run away, which was the best decision, while calling out "fire" instead of anything else which potentially would have gone unanswered....The kids gave chase, forcing him to take his resistance a step further. They totally deserved what they got.

I've learnt to be VERY cautious. I don't walk the streets at night unless I'm in a group of at least 3 of my mates. I won't even have my parents walk around at night unless I'm with them...Same goes for my girlfriend, who is smart enough to call me to pick her up if she ever is in a position where she'll have to walk somewhere in the dark. Can't trust anyone.

But in all serious i do not feel bad for the attackers. They got every bit they deserved. Lives got lost, but it would of been worse if they killed him and struck again and killed another person. No sympothy.
