if this were a core DC super hero then there would be alot of hubbub about the nerd boards. since its a revamp and its a female i dont think this will matter too much past the fact that an openly gay super hero with her own book....helps that its a female as most people reading comics are men/boys. im sure the first few issues will sell well then the novelty will wear off and no one will care....i wont pick this book up at all....

i dont know how they nwill play that out...maybe a scene or 2 with chicks kissing or 2 girls walking off to the shower or some such nonsense. depends on what they can get by the comics code authority......i dont see what the big deal is...most of the groups i belong to havent even mentioned it at all....DC might be playing this up for publicity perhaps....
