You're pretty brave strvs lol Snakes scare the shit out of me. Well, constricting snakes do. Large constricting snakes. eek:

Madmartagen 09-23-2006 08:52 PM

theres alot of barking spiders around here eek:

never had a snake and i dont think i would want to keep one. having to buy another animal just to feed it seems pointless and expensive, plus its probably messy. what are you gonna do with it when it gets too big for the house? youre gonna move and and get your own place, chances are a college or apartment wont let you take it with you, so youre gonna have to get rid of it. that, or it may just kill you in your sleep.

get these mutherfuckin snakes off this muthafuckin plane

Snakes are some of the easiest, low maintenence pets you can get. They only need to be fed about once every 2 weeks, only costs about 10 bucks for a months worth of frozen mice. Spotted Pythons are also pretty small, only growing to about 5 feet. Trust me, i thought this through before i agreed to do it.

And unless you let your snake shit and shed on your floor it's easily cleaned..

We have a beach house down in Mexico and theres a big bushel of treebushes in our yard where this snake hangs out.

The first time I saw it I fucking freaked, but then thought it'd be funny to lunge a coconut from the nearby tree into the bush. The whole bush started fucking shaking, scariest shit in my life.

^strvs i would never let my snake out of its cage, its "too big" now. I mean 3 feet isnt that big but hes a jackass and tries to eat fingers. Recently hes been pretty chill because he is going to shed in the next few days.

Snakes did Madrid Bombings.

When i let them out i hold onto it and keep an eye on it, i don't let them roam around the house freely, that's asking for trouble.

Also, handling your snake will make him alot more comfortable with you, and he will stop biting fingers so much. If you never let your snake out and interact with him he will never stop doing that. My snakes are used to being handled and actually enjoy it, they are very friendly, i'd have to try and make them bite me.

I hate spiders

Coleman 09-24-2006 09:52 AM

eh i don't see any gratification from a snake. It seems more of like a phase you'd go through when you're 9-13 years old. Yeah it may look cool for about a week, but I'd get so bored of it since it really can't communicate with you unlike a cat or a dog. Same goes for turtles, lizards, etc.
