According to wiki it was roughly the size of the Statue of Liberty. Stories that the head alone was as big as a modern day battleship is myth, just as the myth that it straddled the harbor. It was only about 110 feet tall. Still, to build something that massive given the limits of construction technology in that time period is amazing.
