the mouth isnt stitched, you can see it open in some of the strikes...the skin is just too thin on the head for the fangs to penetrate to the venom holes

I don't think the baby would be put there if the snake had working fangs, just like all those Indian
"snake-charmers" would not've lived to be such old men if their snakes could really inject venom.
