A lower ping most definitely improves accuracy...unless you can't aim in the first place. See I am used to aiming directly at my target so when I get into a server with higher ping and have to lead my target, it disrupts my accuracy.

Reminds me of my old Delta force days, now that was lag. You had to do some mighty compensating to hit your target.

bigzooka:
I switched to cable and it blows away any of them. I use to average 100 ping with dsl. now I average 50 which makes a big difference when fragging. When I test my bandwith it comes up infinity which is cool with me. I remember when I would test 42.000 bps. Low ping most definately improves your game. My question would be Why do I sometimes get lag with a low ping? Reply if you know. fire1: M16: oOo: cry: angel: |
hake: That's funny, I thought I was the only one out there who played Delta Force biggrin: biggrin: I even played Land Warrior. Then I graduated to Soldier Of Fortune and dominated with dial up. Now I get real competition with MOH and I have low pings.

because there is a router some where in between you and the game your playing.
This router could be miss configured over loaded have a bad connection to the next router or needs a reboot. by using "tracert your_fav_game_server" If you see * then your loosing packets, thus your server has to resend them. This causes lag |
