My point wasn't that that was the case, just that it wouldn't surprise me. We're in the middle of a propaganda war at the moment. The US military is desperate to flex its muscles and needs public support. It will go to great lengths to build it up, especially fuelling hatred for certain groups. Thus, take everything that you're presented with with a pinch of salt. Don't immediately jump to conclusions. We haven't been presented with any proof, just a video of a dog suffering. Think about it, it could be from anywhere.

No, you need to show ME proof. You claimed this video was it, I'm saying it means nothing. It is of a dog suffering? So what? That could be anywhere. My proof - although i don't know what I'm supposed to prove since I'm merely questioning the story that has been given by CNN (of all people) and a government official (and we know how they can be trusted, especially after the Pentagon announced it was to start a campaign of disinformation) with pictures - lies in the fact that it isn't evidence.

I think the fact that CNN has this tape and is telling us this has more credence than other networks seeing as how CNN is the most liberal and terrorist friendly of the networks.

The US has a long record of testing drug's & chemicals on humans. If our government is doing it today, we won't find out for decades. Much like the LSD tests on civilan's and miltaty personell, sending out troops to the nucelar test sites the use of Agent Orange. Who knowns what kind of testing we do on animals, but that ok because we can be trusted.

What exactly is it that you have there? Did you not read my posts? Video footage is always edited and it is very easy to setup a picture so it looks like certain relationships exist. There is no proof that what you're seeing is an Al-Qaeda test. None, what-so-ever. The purpose of its release is quite clear though. In instill greater hatred towards the specified group. It seems to have done its job very well here.

Where did I say that they meant us no harm, a quote please? All I'm stating is that the video means nothing.

Besides, that kind of torturing goes on in every western nation on a daily basis (even excluding government work).

On a final note, I find it incredible that I post the list of children who have died in the Palestine-Israel conflict only to get responses of "why the f*** should I care?" followed by jokes. Yet, this, this video of nothing (yes, it is awful an animal suffers, but compared to what is going on elsewhere) brings out great rage directed at a group that we have no proof is connected to it. It says alot about many people in this forum community.

First of all the Terrorist dug their own graves when they launched the attack on the world trade center and the pentagon... and im almost positive that most of America supports the US Governments Decision to carry out a War on Terror... so why is there a need for propaganda?
