Nice little town, but the service at the hotel we stopped at could not have been any worse cry:

Just got in and need to get some sleep. I think the aa.com game server will be moving very soon. Once I get resent the server info, as I think I deleted it by mistake ed:

Glad to hear that jasper, I will install in in the am or it might have to wait until Saturday.

Bazooka_Joe 08-30-2002 07:35 AM

Moving again? gaa. . . What reason?

rudedog 08-30-2002 08:54 AM

The provider xgs hosting is going with a faster backbone provider and are moving their operations from Boston ( UUNET ) to Washington DC.

My fist round checks showed a ping of 27ms down from 67ms in Boston.

should be all set this weekend or by Saturday morning.

Bazooka_Joe 08-30-2002 09:08 AM

Oh, well in that case, GO XGS! heh

Don't worry about it Quickfist , a lot of us yanks aren't real good with english either. biggrin:

Rude , I did a tracert to the new IP and I'm not sure what I got back , but I see a lot of 13 and 14 ms , is that good ?? Should be good , if the server is in the DC area , I'm like, right there. How did you get your figures ? Doesn't look like a tracert.

rudedog 08-30-2002 10:24 AM

Mine where straight pings. does the same thing but without all the extra info.

I only use tracert when, I am troubleshooting a network problem.

And yes, 13 and 14 are very good.
