Hip-Hop is my favourite genre at the moment...I have 2,500 HipHop Mp3s in my collection.
Yeah, I know Mobb Deep, I'm a fan of Prodigy (Member of Mobb Deep) In all honesty though, I personally don't think they sound any thing like Tribe...They have more of a dark, gangster-rap style, whereas Tribe has a True School/Old School spirited type of sound.
I'm not really a fan of Gangster Rap, although I do have a lot of Mp3s from groups in that genre...It's not really my bag though, only Gangster Rap groups I really listen too are Gang Starr, Big L, and Wu-Tang...I tend to listen to the True School and Old School sound a lot more...

well tribe and mobb deep sound nearly the same back when mobb deep was underground (coming out of queens bridge or the realist (i think that is it). their lyrics are not the same though. However, dirt south rap has a different sound than any style. It usaully sounds underground (36 mafia, ghetto mafia)

and also both Mobb deep and A trobe called quest were both formed in queens nyc

Yeah, well....a lot of artists have come out of the QB.

my spelling aint hehehe that bad i just use abreiveations. whats wrong with not typing out the full word, besides, i hate english, i wish i spoke german or something that had less exeptions, golden rule of english:
for every rule there is an exception, even that rule has an exeption hehehe, and i actually got by spelling in midlle school with a B so...""...urself
