US tanks are somewhat german tanks, who do you think we went to about tanks after WW2? ze germans. It was some collaboration thing for reperationes or something. The thing is the germans taught us everything they knew about tanks. Then the armor compostion for the Abrams was first developed by Britian. We later got the formula and added some more stuff into it to supposedly make it better. The thing is our tanks come from a collaboration of many countrys and people.

I think most of modern tanks are based on the design of the Tiger Tank.
Those Germans always come up with some great tools to kill. The modern rocket design is based on the V2. The M-60 based on the Mg-42. The K-pot based on the German WWII helmet.

That too, but the armor IS radioactive. If the honeycomb cells in the Abrams armor gets punctured, there WILL be a isotope cleanup crew there, trust me. It happened in the Gulf War.

Well, it wasn't a damn A-Bomb when it broke, but I heard the crew got severely sick when the armor was penetrated. They got hit directly with a tank round, and the tank never blew, just took a hit, they got shook up, and kept going.
