From cp site!

I don't know where you did your " extensive testing of cheats "
by my count there are 11 different sets of the chameleon skins floating around the net. NOT A SINGLE ONE will automaticlly put a _n after the name.

If someone can prove I'm wrong about a cameleon skin which places a _n when it off. Feel free to prove me wrong.
From what I know, it would be impossible for anything to change a model name on the fly while in the game. The only thing that could be done is switching to another model with another name.

If ICB got busted by a forced screenshot, fine thats one thing.
If ICB was only busted by someones elses screenshot of a dumbuser screen. To me thats not proof at all. It would only take an idiot a minute to doctor a dumpuser screenshot. You have to remember we are talking about simple text here, simple text is very easy to change.
For those of you who don't know, there was a team kicked of of TWL a long time ago for supposedly cheating. The only proof was a screenshot showing a dumpuser with non-default skins. In the end the team who got kicked for the non-stock skins was reinstated, after someone proved the dumpuser screen was fake. The person who faked the dumpuser screenshot made the mistake of using capital letters, while the real dumpuser only shows lower case.

BTW Mpowell.... check your pm's[/quote:b0200]

Looks like fusion's skin toggle's uses that "_n" this is taken from his script

// Hacked Skins
alias HG00 "dm_playermodel allied_airborne; dm_playergermanmodel german_afrika_officer"

// Normal Skin
alias NG00 "dm_playermodel allied_airborne_N; dm_playergermanmodel german_afrika_officer_N"

Hate to say it but i hope EA fixes sv_pure in the next patch. I will give up all my mods i download from this site for a nice clean game of mohaa

Cheaters just suck, END OF STORY!

A little more proof of how MOHAA ladder admins have the power to make senseless decisions.
{MOB} has just left the OGL TDM realism ladder due to Caine deciding to award a win to a clan who was clearly cheating.

We were warned by another clan about who we were playing in an upcoming match. Foolishly we thought we were covered because 2 admins were going to spectate the match.

Now for the funny part.

During the match both admins thought someone on the other team was cheating and requested screenshots from all players. Everybody sent in their screenshots except for the person who was suspected of cheating.

You would think the normal response would be one of 3 things.
1) Cancel the match altogether.
2) Cancel the match until the other team agrees to a rematch where everyone will send in the required screenshots.
3) Suspend the player who was suspected of cheating and wouldn't send in the requested screenshot.

{MOB} would of happily accepted any of those 3 possibilities.
Little did we know there was a fourth possibility.

Caine, the OGL ladder director, decided to award the other team a win.
If your wondering how he came to that decision. Well, even though the admins told everyone to take screenshots because they suspected cheating. Since the person who was suspected of cheating wouldn't send in their screenshot. OGL couldn't use the screenshot as proof of him cheating. And without proof, OGL can't do anything.

Now that might make sense to a 5 year old.
To me it was utterly ludicrous.

That is awful. I am truly sympathetic for you. Some people are just so stupid, you wish they couldnt talk. This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Good decision to leave the ladder, and you should post threads regarding your predicament on all the forums and ladder sites you can find. Maybe you'll get a rematch. Cheating in matches is just gay, most cheaters do, and I guarentee that half the cheaters that say they dont cheat in matches do, or would if they started losing, guarentee it. Dont even accuse me, cuz im not in a clan.

pest 02-18-2003 08:16 AM

Yeah druid, that is pretty lame.

Matrf 02-18-2003 09:24 AM

Ladder are a real joke . Its the same shit on TWL .

Whatta Shame, I can't believe that AA ladders actually exist anymore. There is no way to keep it clean. Its really sad, that people have taken this game to this level. I still play everynight and the anti-cheat programs catch at least 2-3 people everynight for cheating. I can only imagine how many it doesn't catch.
And on top of it EA has stopped supporting this game, which means no fixes or patches.

Thank alot guys for making the damn, skins, programs and other Bullshit that has driven this game into the ground.

Flame on!! M16:

This topic is very interesting. But, I honestly don't understand the whole technical aspect of it. I just believe my own two eyes. I have been playing at servers, and kept getting killed by these two dudes. Now they were obviously invisible. Whenever I said "someone here is cheating", they would be the first one's to go "who?". (I always find that the cheaters, when confronted with that ambiguous question, are the first ones to ask who is cheating)

I knew they were invisible. There were no admins present, so there was basically nothing anybody could do. I made a last ditch comment about how pathetic their lives are in that they have to raise their own self-esteem and ruin everybody else's fun by cheating in a video game. Then I left the server in frustration and disgust. Cheating really ruins the game for everyone. Don't do it.
