i listen to metal because it has the most musical diversity and talent of any genre besides classical/jazz (which i also listen to) I know about music and im not impressed or entertained by a elementary school level guitar riff over and over and some stupid poser sucking up vocals.

I don't know.....and unless you're a fucking musical scholar, and have made an attempt at making every style of music out there, going through all the music writing/producing procedures, and completing a decent sounding song for every genre......You can't say shit like that.

You make to many assumptions about how easy you think it is to make a decent sounding song. There's more to it than just putting together a few riffs - You have to write decent lyrics, make the music all fit together well....and most importantly - You have to think it up in the first place.
