Well it seems you brother and his friend have better taste in music than you.

You're 15 right? Shit to be part of the faggots that listen to this crap again would suck, sorry you're still there. Constant screaming over problems no one would give a shit about over constantly terrible instumentals...when this little emocore, screamo, emo whatever the fuck its called fad is over, the world would be a better place. Fuck the kind of money people can make off teen angst.

I would love to see them live. I have Rock in Rio, its great, but you have to be there to really feel it. My guitar teacher saw them when he was 11 on the World Piece Tour, what I would give to see them then....

Zoner 08-21-2004 01:48 PM

I didn't get to see them until '99 and it was a dream come true. It was the "Ed Hunter" promo tour they did. Unbelieveable.

They started out with "Churchill's Speech" and slammed into "Aces High"...just like "Live After Death". I didn't know if I was gonna scream my lungs out, cry my eyes out, or shit my pants. I opted for #1...and a little #3. biggrin:

I've seen 'em 3 times total. The Dance of Death tour stop in Montreal was amazing.

If you ever get the chance, see Dream Theater live, they are beyond amazing live, not to mention incredible improvising. They played 4 hours at the show at MSG. i creamed my pants about 34233452454353 times....per second....

If i recall, Zone said he had tix for them sept1st or someshit. I cant wait for this concert. Not so much for dream theater, or yes. More of just seeing Mike Portnoy, live.

[quote="St@tIc":d10bc]i saw slipknot at ozzfest..and hatebreed at a different concert a year ago.....

currently looking for dimmu borgir tickets somewere[/quote:d10bc]

I saw all three of them at ozzfest this year.

Innoxx 08-21-2004 04:24 PM

And how were they?

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:30 PM

Well, i didnt see hatebreed. THey must have been on on stage 2 when i was at stage 1. Slipknot was great. They're music isnt the best but they just put on a good show. Dimmu Borgir has always been oOo: to me.

Judas Priest definatly was my fav. performances there

And how old were you at the time?

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:31 PM

it was this month eek:

Innoxx 08-21-2004 04:34 PM

You didn't answer the question.

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:35 PM

eek:
15

Innoxx 08-21-2004 04:37 PM

Did you go on August 7th?

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:39 PM

No

Innoxx 08-21-2004 04:40 PM

When did you go, and how did you get there?

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:42 PM

I went aug 3rd. and i went with my sisters boyfriend.

Innoxx 08-21-2004 04:43 PM

So you went on August 3rd with your sister's boyfriend, and saw all three acts. Correct?

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:44 PM

Yes, and i saw slipknot. And dimmu borgir and hatebreed were just there

Innoxx 08-21-2004 04:46 PM

You also said you couldn't see Hatebreed because they were on the other stage. May I ask who was performing on the main stage?

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:51 PM

Jeez, heres what all i saw.
I got there late. So the first act i saw was Slipknot. on second stage. Then i saw BLS, then some acts i didnt care for came on. So i just fucked around with my friends. the next act i saw was slayer. Then judas priest, then the first 20 minutes or so of Black Sabbath

Innoxx 08-21-2004 04:55 PM

That still doesn't answer my question about Hatebreed and who wa on the main stage..

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:56 PM

I didnt see hatebreed because i was late, and missed most of the second stage acts. Heres the list of bands

http://ozzfest.com/bands.html

elstatec 08-21-2004 04:57 PM

liessss nag:

Innoxx 08-21-2004 04:57 PM

Who was on the main stage when you allegedly "missed" Hatebreed?

Fireal 08-21-2004 04:59 PM

No one. No two acts played at the same time. I wasnt there when hatebreed was on. I got there around 4:15 when slipknot was on.

Fireal 08-21-2004 05:02 PM

They were playing Gently. And trippar, obviously its not what i meant to say.

Innoxx 08-21-2004 05:04 PM

So you have a fun time fucking around with your friends? Get all staimed up and whatnot?

It just seems funny to me that within a matter of minutes you magically remember that you didn't actually see them play and that it was because you were late, when like 5 minutes prior you didn't see them cause they were on the other stage, then later on, you magically remember that no two bands played at the same time.

You'd have to be pretty high to just forget things and remember things like that.

KTOG 08-22-2004 11:48 AM

Heh, went to a local heavy metal concert last night. Nothing like a guy on stage saying "This next song is about fucking dead chicks" while the singers 50+ year old mom was in the crowd sing along. All in all a good, walked out with a bloody nose but all in good fun.

Gonzo 08-22-2004 11:51 AM
