It depends a little on your browser. In Firefox you click on "Go" and then "history"

Not sure about IE but I would say go to your Control Panel. And under Internet Options tell it to delete History and Temp Internet files. Cookies too. (but you may lose your saved passwords.)

IE its tools internet options or there is a button that says History....

On IE-

View>Explorer Bar>History

or simple ctrl+h
