Not if people don't think about it. How many people know about connections between GE the govenrment and your TV ? not many really. As long as people don't know, which they don't, it doesn't effect GE at all. People just don't bother, thus you get the effect of Bush winning an election.

We shoudl use our strength to form strong bonds with our neighbors, not boast at our success and bitch when they dont agree with our poliicies. If Canada and other countries, along with nearly half of our own population, disagree with the route we are taking with this administration, than what does that tell us?

....That when you're no longer a super power, you'll have hard times reforming those severed relationships.
