I prefer black pellets over white ones though, as white pellets are fairly easy to spot when they fly through the air (even at speeds of 300-400 fps), and thus lets other people know where you're shooting from.

How would you know what's better? You don't own an airsoft gun.

Ah I see. Welp, I shot my neighbours dog once (it never stops barking or running around) just to see how it would react. Otherwise, I set up targets or go out with a group of friends and we shoot eachother.

And lol @ towelheads

Milla 02-23-2005 11:24 PM

I shot this cat that attacked my dog once, fucking cat jumped 10 feet in the air than took off.

HeadUp 02-24-2005 12:29 AM

yeah i ordered a real decent m9 spring action and IT HASNT BROKEN YET YAAAAAYYYYYYYY, its heacy and has good speed and fairly good accuracy for a pistol

Enough to hold competitions.

But to what distance, it depends on the power of the gun obviously...some guns go up to 250 (for the really cheap pistols) to 400/500.

snipes 02-24-2005 08:04 PM

Hey Milla do you actually compete in airsoft, or do you just keep that thing to shoot the random cat?

Himmler 02-24-2005 08:34 PM

ive been wanting to get a classic army m4a1 with folding stock so bad, but my dad wont let me cuz he says its a waste of $400. i agree with him on that it is a lot but i still want it and possibly compete

Yeah they do cost quite a bit, but I still think they're worth it

Maplegyver 02-24-2005 08:37 PM

id rather get a pistol or hunting rifle.

Nah they got this place called airsoft CQB here in Manassass. But since my friends who i use to play with are gone for Marine training out in cali like i did....i'm basically out of the loop and decided on some cosmetic upgrades.

SoLiDUS 02-25-2005 12:03 AM

Considering you can get REAL weapons for those prices... well...

Solidussy..... your logic is all messed up!
This is a game! You cannot shoot people legally with the real weapons, thats the whole point of airsoft, to be able to participate in milsim games, not to shoot at some firing range.

I'd stay away from Classic Army internals, sure their metal bodies are nice, but they are VERY failure prone, unless you are a veteran of these gubsm stick with Tokyo Marui and upgrade the body from there.

Ive seen these other guns, theyre like replicas but they dont fire anything, they come with real looking shells that load into the gun then you can fire it having the shells eject like the real thing.

They even have an fg-42 ed:

The other weapons like this m16-carbine have videos showing the way they work.

Zoner 02-25-2005 09:17 AM

Little less painful, but if it hits bare skin, like i got hit on my fucking ear lobe one time, yeah that was painful, even through liek a t-shirt it feels like a bee sting for a few mins, and it can leave a welt.

Madmartagen 02-26-2005 02:53 AM

Paintball is fun, but i dunno about getting shot up by bbs oOo:
