Airsoft, most people i know are fully aware i play "airsfot" but have no clue what it really is or to the extent im geared for it. I am however overshadowed by the many x-army/marines who are total gear whores.

I paintball less and less each year, and im considering selling my shit seeing how much i airsoft.

Along with that very few people realize that sometimes when i cant be reached, its because i actaully dissapeared into the mountains for a few days, to hike, fish, and generally camp getting away from shit. I bring no tent, nor sleeping bag just my ruck sack (literally an army small ruck sack) with food, water, socks, and wet weather gear. I follow no trails and basically walk through the woods for a day or two.

Most people outside my family have no idea i love computer FPS's.

Aircraft, flying, especially World War Two aircraft they have a certain beauty about them kinda like the American cars from the 50s. Also enjoy history, sailing, politics, & could really get into paintballing but don't have the £ or the time or mates were are really interested.

My dad picked up on a very interesting point the other day, most guys tend to have a secret hobbie or love that they are nuts about. My dads hobbie is collecting Motown music from the 60s, his friend is mad on WW2 equiptment & owns a Willys Jeep & a halftrack etc. There is one definate difference between guys & girls, most girls don't seem to have a weird hobbie that they are crazy about.

Right now its basically fishing, cooking, and guitar. When I graduate from college and have some cash to spare, i'm definatly playing the stock market. I some times pretend i put a set amount in and follow it. I could be rolling in money by now if it was real cry:

I know the feeling man...i know the feeling. A few years ago I joined a stock market contest for students. Everything about it is like the real thing, but it's only 'fake' money. I started off with $4,000. By the end of the game (about 7 months or so) I had over a million dollars cry: cry: cry: . I came in first in the state of PA and had some nice banquet at Lehigh University. If only that was real money...ugh.

amateur scat artist

Shorthand, car audio and performance is hardly an "odd" hobby, 1 in 3 teenagers are into one of those things

mr.miyagi 06-19-2005 06:04 PM

I collect Drexciya records, got alot of them but some I'll never be able to get as one went on ebay few weeks back for £5000+ which was a little fishy...

Anyways Drexciya are an electro duo from Detroit, the main guy is dead, no-one knows very much about them and they remain one of the most mysterious electronic artists in music history....they go under many names.

Expensive when you find the old stuff....click here for [url=http://www.phinnweb.org/links/artists/drexciya/:33e07]MORE[/url:33e07]

Thats not an odd hobby tho, pretty regular of people to buy their fave artists music. cool:

1 in 3 male teenagers from the ages of 15-21 who are interested in car audio is like 20 million people. Fairly odd.
