I need to work this shit out in £ lol. But seriously I have never really been a fan of xbox
is there anything that will make me buy that over an overpriced ps3 or should I just build a new pc? Input welcome! |

Quake 4, and quakewars are all the reason i need. rock: |

Silver = Free Gold = $$$ People are saying that on silver you'll be able to play online every weekend or every so often or something, but I don't know if there's any truth in that. |
damn, I'll just stick with buying a new PC rather than one stupid console. I wonder how those games will be priced at?
|
Don't forget about the Phantom!!!!1111 It will own PS3 and 360!!!/1/1/1111!!
.... biggrin: |
Well, im one of the only ones here...but since console game sales totally DESTROY pc game sales, i can safetly say at least some people like console games.
$750 is ludicris though |
I'd take a console any day over a PC. No upgrading, no having to look up geeky vocab to figure out if you're PC can run a game, no installing, no patching, none of that stuff. And I truthfully dont mind the control scheme, PC's are only good for FPS's, and kwight frankly, Im getting sick of them...I need a racing game once in a while.
Then again, I probably wont buy a console, as my grades will never be good enough to get them (My parents are restrictive in wierd ways, especially my dad- he wont let me play violent stuff, yet almost encourages me to rent movies like Kill Bill, and has even told me the whole thing behind masturbation) and I'm sick of upgrading PC part after PC part... I think I'll devote my life to the secrets of Buddhismn. |

Hows patching a bad thing? Microsoft have already issued patches for games on xbox live that automatically update the game to fix bugs, unreal championship was the first xbox live game to get patched. |
Patchings not a bad thing, sure, it fixes bugs and all, but half of the time you've always gotta restart the game all over. And if a game is in need of patching before it's released, I probably wont even buy it.

Fact of the matter is this, even on xb live people develop cheats, ive seen videos of rtcw going completly batshit on xbl with super speed players super high jumping and all this other mad shit. I don;t think these days a game exists that won't need a patch especially when it has a multiplayer component. When you think about it virtually every game needs patched before its released, just usually the patches follow later when the developers figure out how exactly the hacks are working and try to work around them. |
