Either way, glad no one was seriously hurt. Accidents suck.

I know for a FACT ... FACT ! that once your shelby is on the road you are going to drive it with spirit like my friend arkan.. The car will be begging you to. (much much more so then the civic)

He'll take it on a HIGHWAY if he wants to go fast, I'm sure.[/quote:c800b]

many many MANY more people on a highway. ! (BUT I could really careess to be honest, Arkan should enjoy a car like that as much as he can before hitting a certain safety limit.[/quote:c800b]

That's a very fucking selfish way to think.

...Oh and I didn't mean SPEED on a highway. I meant that you can go faster by LAW on a highway than on regular roads.

all i know is that if I drive high...I try to pay more attention

all my "close" calls have come sober because i get too confident in my abilities.

Since my name has been thrown out there, perhaps i should respond.

How many people here can honestly say they don't break any VTL's whilst driving?....whether it be a rolling stop, lane change without signaling, driving while impaired, speeding,....blah blah. Probably no one. As for me driving that shelby in a "spirited way", yes, i'm sure i'll get into it every now and again. What i won't try to do is become "reckless" while driving it. Same applies for the way i drive now. Yes, i admit to breaking a law or two but i do my best to keep from taking someone else out with the way i drive. I can't tell you how many wrecks i've avoided by driving the way i do but, i can tell you how many i caused. ZERO

As most of you know, last year i was involved in a twisted wreck that was totally unavoidable. Person at fault was lost and talking on a cell phone (trying to find her way) and didn't yield to oncoming traffic. Hey, guess what, it's called an "accident". I'm sure the young lady didn't mean for us to crash, she just lost her concentration for a bit.

As for your friend going recklessly fast around a blind curve with possible traffic the other way........well, not the best judgement on his part. Same applies for those who climb behind the wheel stoned or drunk. None of us are angels behind the wheel. Just try to be careful out there. Too much can go wrong.

I drive like a senior citizen.

Glad you hear your friend is ok, man.
