You misinterpretted it. I was assuming that it was an older, needs work constantly kind of Saturn. I was wrong, it turned out to be 2004 and in great condition. I AM thankful for be able to use the car for about a month. However, it was taken away due to my grades. He was going to take it away anyway, because my grandma's car crapped out and she needed it more than I did. On topic: Is the DFI Infinity Ultra better than most others (besides Ultra-D) - or is there a better mobo for under $100? |
was looking further into cards, and the ATI X800GTO2 sounds good, that after tweaking it can reach x850xt marks, any good then?

Do you really want to take the chance? |

However, it was taken away due to my grades. [/quote:f449a] How fuckin hard is your highschool? I coasted my senior year, did my homework before class, and got a 3.8 GPA. |
Im upgrading the components in my computer and need to know what I should get, what I should be looking for.
Right now: K7VTA3 Motherboard SiS or some shit. No PCI-E. AGP Chaintech 6600 AGP vid card (stutters even with a reliable power supply, not all the time but it happens - have to reboot system when it does. . .this occured even WITH a 500W powersupply in there with all the +12V bullshit - gonna sell it to some asshole online) AMD 2100+ or so CPU. 1GIG PC3200 DDR200 (is that right. . .fuck if I know what the two numbers mean) ram. So - preferably I would like a MOTHERBOARD that supports the ram I have so that I dont need to buy 2gig of PC7800 DDR1MILLION ram and can just get another DDR200. CPU - I would be cool with a 2800+ or so. What should I be looking for? As for what I would like: Motherboard - should be able to fit in an ATX tower. Not looking to upgrade case. CPU - no fucking clue. Both above should last be able to last me for awhile, to accomodate future Vid Cards should the need arise. Video Card - Anything that can run shit at 12x10 without having to jack shit down to LOW. |
[quote="TGB!":2e7e1]Piss off - Im a mod I can do what I want. Including locking this thread, and editing it to be you talking about smearing yourself with Peanut Butter and having the Lithuanian Geriatric Society lick it off you - how about that tough guy?[/quote:2e7e1]
Issues much? Mobo - Get an nForce 4 Ultra CPU - AMD 64 4400+ Video card - nVidia GeForce 6800 GT |

[/quote:4aa7f] Motherboard: simple! Get the latest Asus that supports PC3200 RAM. CPU: These guys are on crack... unless you plan on doing CPU intensive tasks, I don't suggest anything higher than an AMD64 3700+ (socket 939, so make sure the Asus board supports them) Video card: Ati X850 Pro should suffice. Powerful enough for most games, not too expensive either (I got mine in Canuckia for 300$, so it should be 250 or less for you) |

Just regular shit. . .gaming, watching movies, maybe some ADOBE work - nothing that I need three half-pipes and Sli-Water-Cooling. . .o_0 How much different is the x800XT from the x850 - cause I can get an 800xt for 100 bucks less - refurbished but still warrantied. |
I hear the X800 XL is better than the X850
http://froogle.google.com/froogle_clust ... =mrd&hl=en Mine and i like it a lot, was a good price too. |
