Another fucking kitten? That cat of yours must get ridden more times than the average racing horse. oOo:

nope, she died awhile back. gave the other one away, so we were down to the fat piece of shit smokey until we picked up that little thing.

Smokey? You mean pukey. biggrin:

Coleman 10-23-2006 06:06 PM

question: Since I'm not a cat person and have no idea about them, do you have to take care of a kitten by keeping your eye on it 24/7 like a small puppy? Or do you just let it go off and do whatever like an older cat?

Have to keep an eye on it, little bastards can get anywhere, they love getting into dark places so its not unusual for them to get inside a washing machine if theres some clothes in it for them to lay on.

anti 10-23-2006 06:12 PM

haha wow as if you remember that gerv, good job.

coleman, we barely do anything for that kitten and for all of ours in the past. they almost naturally know to go into the litter box, and that's about it. the only thing you have to watch them for is to make sure they don't scratch anything up but other than that, kittens are really easy to take care of.

Yeah I have two new burmese kittens (to replace the fallen soldier, casper) and they're fine on their own. They're pure-bred though, so they're already "potty-trained" to use the litterbox. You don't have to force them to eat, they'll figure it out on their own.

I'd recommend a burmese to anyone, they're the perfect cat. The best qualities of a dog (loyalty, not shy - approachable) with the best qualities of a cat (not messy, independent enough).

anti 10-24-2006 02:54 PM

i've been wanting to get a burmese since i've seen yours.

Whatada 10-24-2006 02:57 PM

I have a two year old turtleshell I adopted from the SPCA, and she's a little attention whore. She loves running out into the middle of the floor and rolling over on her back, looking at everybody like "lol wanna fight?"

and...

...for the raptors games my dads buddy had season tickets...and they were front row...at the top....god what maazing seats...so much better than being in gold or red.
