300, pretty good movie, did sorta of remind me of Gladiator at some parts, camera work and the field part looked very similar.

I judst got a laugh out of the freakshow that made up the enemies, fucking jabba the hutt with blades on his arms, then you had the inbred hillbilly the "immortals" brought to the fight. Gollums even more retarded cousin made an appearence as the hunchback, then the immortals themselves appeared to be lepers. eek: biggrin:

300 looked the same as gladiator...because it was set in the same era maybe? 300 was very good imo, the script did lack a little but the visuals and the fight sequences made up for it.

Anyways last movie I saw was the Edge.

it pertains to the time period. instead of "LETS WOOP THEIR ASSES", he says something like that. it's more believable.

Blood Diamond - That was a bad ass movie. Leo did a good job again.

Of course it wasent the Roman Empire, but technology didn't advance very much from the time the Spartan's were fighting and when the Roman Empire was conquering the known world.

The Edge is amazing.

Last movie I saw on DVD is "The Burbs", darn good 80's movie staring Tom Hanks. If you've seen it, here are some memorable lines:

I hope you don't work for or support infinity ward. COD2 was a waste of my money. I played for the competitiveness of it and with it being so scrub based, it takes no skill to actually play. That is all.

I just got back from seeing Blood Diamond.

I am blown away, it was fucking fantastic. Emotional, action-packed, extremely well shot, and just an overall compelling story. Its a 10/10.

Oh yeah, and the movie reminded me a lot of Hemingway's For Whom The Bell Tolls, especially the ending. great book.
