Video - Geforce4 Ti 4400 128Mb

I turned my resolution down to 800X600 amd the game worked. Why, I have no idea. Anyway, there is no way to brighten it up in the options or anything so I can't see anything which totally sucks. I was running ingame at 640X480 and it was pretty choppy on my GF2MX400. Anyway, maybe i'll give it a better try tomorrow, but I doubt it'll run on your 800mhz if it doesn't run on my 1400mhz. Unless you have a shit load of ram and a GF3 at least.

same thing happened to me with BF1942 i could only play on 800x600

Well I could play BF on 1024X768 if I wanted to lag really bad. Hell, I even lagged on 800X600 in BF.

What type of connection you got ninty9?

Just played it, works fine and looks beautiful at 1024x768, will try higher res later on. Awesome game and controls perfectly with the mouse. Definately looking forward to this for the PC.

Well, I was pretty impressed except that you once again are just one super human... I walked right front of guard shot it in leg, and afterwards let him empty his clip on me -- from point-blank range -- of course I lived.

I find it hard to believe ANYONE would think mgs2 is the better game, graphically mgs2 looks like crap compared to it and in terms of gameplay splintercell is much more realistic.

In mgs2 you have the dumbest enemy ai ive ever seen. It relys on a "view cone" to spot you and you conviently have the option of a radar system to tell when you're outta their field of view. You can stand roughly 10 feet away from an enemy staring straight at you and he won't spot you. oOo:

MGs2 was no more than an action game with the usual "take 30 ak rounds to die", in splintercell its not as forgiving and you can only take a few hits which makes the game a lot harder. Pistols take a few hits to kill you wheras an ak can kil you in much fewer hits.
