If you're playing a TOW game shotties are a good D-fensive weapon, but you'll have to get the drop on the attacker. Any good SmG-er will just stay back and pump-ya full-o-lead.

On the other hand, if your team is on offence and your objective is in a tight spot have your snipers cover the "shottie squad" with a good SMG-er for backup as they rush in...... thats why once you get killed in a match its always a good idea to re-evaluate what weapon you're using, and tactics to win the game.

Thats if you're playing for the TEAM WIN, and not for kill points of course.

At one time or another, all weapons have been admonished for their supposed cheapness. Get back to enjoying the game. Damn. mad:

Actually, those are the cheap ones. Good shotguns start around $500 and you can pay thousands for really good ones.

what a waste, I can get an M-60 for "thousands"[/quote:5873b]

A custom made, fitted, competition M-60??

Good auto loaders go for $700-1200 and nice over/unders start around $700 and can get as expensive as you like. A nice bronwig O/U is probably 1500-2500, depending on how nice you want it. In two years, I woud rather have that $1500 gun, than a two year old $1500 pc. An M-60 would be kind of cool, but what do you do with it. Its not like you can take it to the range every week or hunt with it. Just my two pennies.

LOL - I have been called cheap for the rifles too. Some peope would bitch if you hung them with a new rope.

Zoner 01-17-2003 09:40 AM

A NEW rope, oh yeah. Now, if it was an old rope, they'd have no leg to stand on.

I swear that if you ran around like Jason Voorhees swinging a machete, people would call you a blade-n00b or something.

Some people just can't fathom that they got killed in the game. oOo:

I like going to the ppl with 999 ping and lagged at spawn when I'm the last alive, I dance around them crouching and standing (bouncing) until the time is almost up or until he times out. oOo:
