actually i had just got my application back from the army...they won't accept me because of vision at -8, so i'm planning on getting LASIK.

yeah i heard u the first time. I wouldn't want to leave Canada. However, the marines are a pretty cool bunch. They can kick ass.

You only need a -4 for combat arms, which is Infantry, Armour, Engineer, Artillery.

Support trades such as logistics and whatever else you just need to beable to see 20/20 with corrective lenses.

ninty9 are you serious? i can get into those support trades as long as i can see 20/20 with correction?

i'm pretty sure. thats what i was told. as long as you can see fine with glasses, there shouldn't be a problem with getting into a support trade.
