ok... last night i was chatting with people in the gamespy lobby, asking them to help me. some guy was helpful enough and told me how to fix my demo. before this i would always get a gray screen when i launched the game,then it would crash.but anyway this is how u fix it, if ur having this problem. Got to My computer, double-click control panel, then double-click Multimedia. On the audio tab, there are two menus hat say Playback, and Recording. Each of these have a drop-down menu. In each of the two drop down menus, set them to Usable By Any Device. Trust me... it WORKS

blah, my pc doesn't have a usable by all devices choice. Ok, I know it might be painstaking, but is there anyone that could list all the files in the mohaa folder and including what's in the main and snddrivers folders. Maybe installation is screwing up and leaving out an important file or something, if so i need to know what it is.

Reformat? yea yea I know last resort but it looks like you have tried it all.

But to try and help, I would clean out all the old drivers first and uninstall the game. I would use det destroyer to totally clean out the vid drivers. Then reinstall the drivers, sound, vid, 4in1's, directx and then install the game.

I don't think it is a problem with the drivers, it worked once remember. If there was a problem with the drivers, wouldn't it have not worked at all? I may try and update my drivers agian but my pc will probably screw up. I'm starting to think I bought a defective copy of the game.
