A "student copy" is a shortened full version of software. It is used for large businesses, classroom PCs, and other places you woulld need software installed on several PCs in a network.

Is this a computer you use at school. If so maybe your I.T. depertment can help. If its your home computer youll have to spring for a full version of xp home or pro to get the job done right. XP home being cheaper then the pro version.

Short Hand 07-20-2004 10:25 PM

but i still love him, even if he will never accept me.

changes from chipset to chip set and mobo nub.

1 if your using windows ME or below (98 etc.. gotta use a boot disk, set in your bios to boot to floppy. If windows 2kpro (the best) or windowsXP your cd rom is built with a boot program and can boot your comp from the CD ROM (which you gotta set in the bios boot to CD if your using them. with windows 2kpro and XP its so easy just follow the step by step format etc etc it fdoes it all for you then install your drivers once windows is back and your set. Easy as pie. (or you could run a windows repair by justp utting your disk and following the instructions in the cheapo screen to repair. what ever you do gl.

Wow.

Ok here is what I have learned in the last few hours.....

1. In order to format you must type in this EXACT manner: FORMAT c:
otherwise it will not understand the command.

2. Spearhead, or maybe just my copy has a bug in it. ( this may just be my graphics card too, but they are somehow related ) If you adjust the brightness of the game it will effect in some manner the following ( Monitor settings, Graphics card, or Drivers )

3. Internet Optimizer is Spyware.

4. And I confirmed that I cannot make a thread last more than 2 pages before someone starts braggin' bout the size of thier E-Cock.

Short Hand 07-21-2004 02:13 AM

number 4 is debatible.
