fujimi7su 08-27-2004 07:50 PM

best option in the small range is the iriver minis, though the rios are decent

dont know about 1gb though, most are 512 and take those flash sticks, ipod mini maybe? dance: wallbash:

Doesnt have to be a "Hard Drive" mp3. Just anything that can hold around 30 songs is enough for me.

most flash are 512, and most hd ones are 4gb+ so IDK about 1... just get a 512 that takes flash cards....

i have a samsung yepp and it holds about 40 songs and it costed me about 100$ cdn so thats like 5$ your money.

I have a Zen, it's excellent, my friend has an iPod, it's also excellent.

Just get whatever you feel you want, they're both good players, its just up to you whether or not you want to fork over extra money for something that does a few extra things then just play music. (games, organizer, etc (essentially the stuff you'd get on a pda, but worse))

Scalping Chief 08-27-2004 08:42 PM

i want something thats semi-cheap and i can hold like 100+ songs i dont have 400$'s for an ipod any other ones out there?
