Mk. Ive only recently started smoking pot. And even then ive done it probably 3 times in the past month. I drink alot, though I am cooing down on that do to some bad expierences. By far I think being drunk is worse than being stoned. The peopel are more agitated and they might wake up with a hangover unable to perform their daily tasks.
Old, go get a brazilian when you shave your head rock: Mix it up dont drink jsut water, drink OJ, cranberry juice, grape juice w/e. And dont smoke anymore and you should be ok.

I know people that use pot, when I was younger I used it ALOT. Most of the people that I know that still use it are productive in society. It is much less harmful that alcohol IMO. That doesnt make it OK to use because it is still illegal. I doubt that will ever change because there is no way to test someone for being "under the influence" the tests cant tell if you are high or if you smoked last week. No matter what you choose to use it should be in moderation. Too much of anything isnt good for you.

I have always wondered, if you go on vacation to somewhere where pot is legal (like Amsterdam) and use it then come home to work and find out you need to take a drug test, you will fail but you used it legally, do you lose your job?

I doubt it. I'm assuming companies look at the situation from a perforamnce stance, rather than a legal issue. They want to know their employees are top notch and up to par.

Also Stackem, i think it is illegal still, because even though you were in a country where it was legal, you know your eventually going back to the states, which means you knew it was illegal in the states. So if you take a piss test and fail it than claim you were in Amsterdam, they arent going to give a shit.

Almost 25% of the population in this country admit to using marijuana at least monthly....Pretty much all my friends do it outside of my 7 close friends, except not all of them on the same scale....None of them I consider "burnouts."

Maybe it's like that where you are but it's DEFINITELY not a global thing.
I'm guessing you only know a handful of stoners, if that. Sure there are obviously going to be burnouts, but they're the type of people that are fuck-ups to begin with. It's like anything if it gets into the wrong hands. Liquor, FAST CARS, unhealthy foods, guns, they're all bad if they get into the wrong hands.

I think you'd be suprised if you found out how many people around you smoke pot that you never even suspected - Normal, everday people of a varety of demographics. Thing with most stoners is they keep it quiet from pretty much everyone, for obvious reasons.

drug tests suck...but Ive never had to have one for my job yet.

I sniffed a wet fingerful of Pixie Stick dust before, but thats about as far as I've gone.
