Marlon Brando

Terry Malloy (Brando) dreams about being a prize fighter, while tending his pigeons and running errands at the docks for Johnny Friendly, the corrupt boss of the dockers union. Terry witnesses a murder by two of Johnny's thugs, and later meets the dead man's sister and feels responsible for his death. She introduces him to Father Barry, who tries to force him to provide information for the courts that will smash the dock racketeers.

One of the best scenes in a movie im about to quote here:


Charlie: Look, kid, I - how much you weigh, son? When you weighed one hundred and sixty-eight pounds you were beautiful. You coulda been another Billy Conn, and that skunk we got you for a manager, he brought you along too fast.

I love that scene, infact it was ranked number 2 on top 100 movie quotes of all time.

Screenplay is much better than it got credit for being. It takes some patience but i thought it was pretty good after i thought about it. Very under-rated.

Does anyone recomend Falling Down, with Michael Douglas?

Falling Down is a good movie, i saw it years ago, but i thought it was well done. One of the few Michael Douglas movies i like.
