NO spoilers, don't worry...

If you've seen Day of the Dead...you can probobly understand this movie better...because a lot of people that have maybe seen...Night or Dawn...and not Day, might MIGHT, not understand why, what happens, happens...but I really liked it...

9/10

Congrats Mr. Romero...

P.S.
I LOVE THE CAMEO APPERANCE OF TOM SAVINI!!! HAHA, fucken brilliant.

I saw dawn of the dead, the remake - I still don't know why they turned into zombies, what was the main reason they turned into zombies?[/quote:ad2f3]

They never tell you in any of Romero's movies (Or in the Snyder remake of dawn)....(Haven't seen Land yet)....I guess it'd lose its appeal more if they try to explain it using half-assed science. I like it how they don't explain.

I dunno, I like to think it's because there is no more room in hell, and the dead are forced to work the earth....(That's pretty much a direct quote from both Dawn movies - Both times made by the same actor, Ken Foree)

I think that's what Romero is getting at....It works well with all the social commentry and themes that are prominant in the dead series...As if humans are by majority, all naturally evil and so hell has filled up....

I like the fact that you never know too, because if zombies were actually taking over earth i think everyone would be too worried about saving their ass then finding a reason to why they're here.

It turns out he did have an idea for how the zombies were created. Its nice though he didnt mention it in the later films.

how bout the resident evil way?

Way too many political messages.

Food "hunters" = American Army invading muslim culture
Zombies = Muslims, they get angry and attack the tower and the rich Republicans
Fenced up city = Homeland Security
and yeah... a few others
People moving to Canada = Turned-Democrat Rupublicans and Democrats (the poor people)

Romero's movies have always been a reflection of the times. I'm not surprised if there's some political undercurrents.

As long as there's a lot of intestine ripping, he can comment on the world all he wants.
